Mad things the Tax Credit Office Office does

I was assisting someone who had been in disupte with the Tax Credit Office. I managed to agree a pay out by the Tax Credit Office of £9,000.

They kindly paid the money by sending payment in the form of 27 cheques, in 27 envelopes, in one day.

How mad is that?!!!!!!
